What is your favorite part of the school day?

My favorite part of the school day is the morning arrival. I absolutely love welcoming each and every one of my students into the classroom as they arrive at the door. Whether it's a wave, a hug, a fist bump, or a high five, their bright and beautiful smiles light up my heart first thing in the morning!

What is the best thing about the PS 65 community?

The best thing about the PS 65 community is how dedicated, hardworking, loving, and nurturing each and every staff member is. We all have the same goal in mind, and that is to make sure we are meeting the needs of each and every individual student. We all work together as a team to ensure that everyone (staff and students) is successful. We all care so much about our students, the school, and each other!

Do you have kids? If so, tell us about them!

I have one son and his name is Michael or as I call him "Baby Michael"! He is my whole world! He loves watching Sesame Street, especially skits that include Cookie Monster! His favorite color is brown. He loves reading books, playing with Monster Trucks, and visiting the zoo or an aquarium (he loves penguins)!

If you could spend a week anywhere in the world, where would it be?

If I could spend a week anywhere it would be Disney World! I spent my childhood visiting there every year with my family. It holds so many special memories. Each time I am there I feel like a little "kid" again. I just started this tradition with my son last year, and I am hoping to visit every year with him! There is nothing like the magic of Disney!
