Annual Basket Bash

FAQ

What is the P.S. 65 Basket Bash?
This is our most extensive fundraising campaign of the year and significantly impacts the school.

The funds raised through the Basket Bash will be used for the arts, music, technology, and so much more across all of our classrooms, including general education, special education, and ICT classrooms. These funds enable 65 to provide for our students, staff, and school.

With the city’s budget cuts donating is more critical this year than ever.

This money directly helps your children. The more we give, the more the students get.

Why is the Basket Bash significant?
The Basket Bash funds essential activities and programs, including art, music, and technology.  This year in connection with the PTA will be the most significant source of those funds.  We appreciate any contribution, including straight donations from companies.  We also accept items to assemble baskets, including baskets already created by individual families!

Every contribution matters, so whatever you can or do to support this worthy cause is appreciated.  All donations are fully tax deductible.  TAX-ID: EX-690210637.

What is our fundraising goal?
Our goal is $15,000

Who organizes the Basket Bash?
PTA, alumni, and current parents volunteer their time year-round to help make it happen.  All donations are tax-deductible.  If you have any questions or want to volunteer, don't hesitate to contact Norma Santaliz, Parent Coordinator, and/or Sara Irizarry.
